TRAVLIN TEXANS has been an active chapter of the Family RV Association (FRVA) since 1987. We are made up of RVers from all across Texas. Membership in TRAVLIN TEXANS is open to those that are active FRVA members. As an organization, we hold five rallies a year, generally scheduled for the first full week of March, April, May, October and November. FRVA (Formerly known as Family Motor Coach Association) welcomes all types of RVs.

There's a quiet kind of joy in slowing down and taking the road less traveled, especially on a summer RV trip through the heart of the Midwest. With no rush to reach the next stop, the journey becomes part of the destination--rolling past cornfields that stretch for miles, pulling off to explore charming small towns, and discovering local diners that still serve pie like Grandma used to make. In Tennessee, the soft hum of bluegrass drifts through the hills, and in Kentucky, a slow walk through a bourbon distillery feels like a step back in time. It's not about how far you go, but how deeply you experience the places along the way. The beautiful horses in the picture were found on a narrow side road outside of Frankfort, KY. I hope you find a location as peaceful as this. Until we get together at our October rally, take care of yourselves and enjoy the pleasures that summer has to offer.
