A Typical Rally

Individual Rallymasters plan and run each rally. Members take turns serving as Rallymasters and Assistant Rallymasters. Rallies vary somewhat according to local tourism opportunities, campground facilities and the Rallymasters' preferences. However, common activities include:

  • Potluck meals

  • Group meals prepared by the Rallymasters

  • Catered meals

  • Eating out at local restaurants

  • Shopping by small groups (antiques, outlet malls, etc.)

  • Games (dominoes, Mexican Train, Hand & Foot, Pegs & Jokers, Samba, etc.)

  • Group games and tournaments (Beanbag Baseball, etc.)

  • Golfing

  • Tours of local attractions

Usually, there is lots of "free time" included. During these periods, members can choose to join a game of cards or dominoes (there always seems to be a game going on), shopping or touring the local area, or just take a nap!

We spend a lot of time playing games together and visiting. Newcomers are welcome and someone is always willing to teach you a game and coach you as you learn. Also, new game ideas are always welcome.

Rallies revolve around campground "rally rooms." All our rally sites are selected to ensure that the campground has a rally room of which we have exclusive use.. Group meals are served here, entertainment and business meetings are held here. Rally rooms become the social center for the members.
