About Travlin Texans

First things first! The name "Travlin Texans," written without an 'e' or a 'g' in the 'Travlin' part of the name, was created back in 1987, back before the advent of emails, web sites, and all that other electronic stuff. There's been talk of correcting the spelling, but its amazing to think of all the issues that come with a name change. And, besides, it wouldn't be as unique as it is right now!

We are made up of RVers from all over Texas. We normally have about 25-30 families on our roster at any one time, with anywhere from 10-15 rigs in attendance at most rallies. We're small enough to develop close friendships, yet large enough that we've maintained our chapter status for over 35 years!

We look at our rallies as a chance to meet up with good friends who enjoy visiting, some organized activities and meals, games and local touring. We are always interested in new members and hope you will consider visiting us at a rally and consider joining. See our list of rally dates and locations and go to "Information for Prospective Members" for more information on attending a rally and becoming a part of the Travlin Texans!
